Yeah. This is something new. Back in those days, I still remember. Before I was a hardcore fan of extreme music, I was so into rap music. Artistes that inspire me to rap those days were of course Eminem, Mike Shinoda during the Linkin Park Hybrid Theory album and of course our own local Too Phat. My personal favorite until now is of course Malique. I love how he rhyme all his lyrics, smooth, simple, easy to understand. Joe Flizzow? Yeah, he's ok, but naah, ok laaah. Since last year, my love for rap music suddenly emerged again after I heard a few of Tupac songs. Yeah, the legendary Tupac. For those of you who love hip hop but don't know who Tupac is, my advised to you is, go jump of a building. I've heard of Tupac before but since last year, it all suddenly puufff in my head to open up youtube and search for Tupac. Aaaah. Classic. Tupac, Notorious Big and recently, again, I looked up for more old school hip hop. Those big names in those days like N.W.A, Public Enemy and of course, rap with beautiful rhyme Bone Thugs & Harmony. Then, suddenly, I thought and I said to myself "uh, all these years I've been playing guitar and was a frontman in my previous band. What if, I try to rap?"
Yeah, that's one of the questions that keeps lingering in my head. What if I try to rap? When I was younger, before I listen to Slayer, Cradle Of Filth, Megadeth and stuffs, I did some rap of Eminem and Mike Shinoda part of the Hybrid Theory of Linkin Park. It was cool. One of the things that I like about rap is that, it helps me improve my english. Well, of course until now my english is not that good as you can read from this blog. Ya ya ya, I know. I sucked at english. But I don't mind. I'm trying my best to sharpened up my english skills. But lately me getting lazy still. Yeah, does that sounds like rap to you??boooo. =.=
Well, maybe I'm gonna try rap. Since that, it would be easy for me to talk and rhyme about something that I wanna say. About the world, social, what happen around us and my opinions on something & some stuffs. Seems that, one of the best way to talk more about it in music is rap music. But yeah. Rap maybe sounds easy, but trust me, it's hard. It's not about talking fast in rhyme. It Doesn't matter whether you do it fast or slow. What matter is, your skill and your own identity on how you do it. Ah, lets see what happens next. It's just one of the plans in music that I'm planning to do. One of those ideas that pop of from my mind. Yeah. We'll see how it goes. We'll see how it goes. =)
